I have absolutely fallen in love with Bible journaling. This is a fun way to dig deep into God’s word and apply those words to my life. Bible journaling really helps me to focus more on learning about Jesus and letting His words soak into my heart. I have found that once I started journaling my way through my Bible instead of merely reading a verse here and there, I have really learned more and wanted to study more. Journaling in the Bible is a personal thing. It’s not everyone’s “thing”. But, I encourage you to give it a go! I have a Bible specifically designed for journaling. It has wide margins to make notes, illustrate a verse, whatever your heart desires. My personal preference is to not cover any of the words in any of my Bibles, including my journaling Bible. Some use their entire page to journal, it’s a total personal preference.
Check the blog often for updates, tips and techniques. I am no Picasso by any stretch of the imagination. So these will be very basic and simple pages to just have fun with! I am learning and would love to have you along to encourage you to try new things and learn more about Jesus in the process!
If you hear a voice within you say “you cannot paint,” then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced. ~ Vincent Van Gogh
